Resin Care Information
- Avoid water: Resin is water resistant, but not waterproof, so remove it before showering, swimming, or washing dishes.
- Avoid heat and sunlight: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause the resin to discolour and soften.
- Avoid chemicals: Avoid exposing resin to harsh chemicals and cleaning products, such as acetone, nail polish remover, hair spray, perfume, and antibacterial hand sanitiser.
- Avoid scratching: Try to avoid scratching or scuffing the resin surface.
- Avoid smoke: Regular contact with direct smoke can cause resin to yellow.
- Store in a dry place: Keep resin in a dark, airtight bag or box.
- Clean with mild dish soap: Use a damp microfibre or silk cloth with mild dish soap and water to clean resin.
- Use plastic polish: You can use plastic polish to maintain the condition of your resin.
- Remove when sleeping: Avoid sleeping in resin jewellery.
